Introduction:
The news is full of science: important stories on global warming, or on the health benefits of bacteria, just to mention a few. Many stories contain scientific terms that are unfamiliar. However, like any vocabulary words, they can be learned with a little practice. They’ll come in handy on one day, especially on the Science section of the GED.
In this lesson you will:
- Review vocabulary related to science
- Read articles and answer comprehension questions
- Choose the best word to complete sentences from news stories
