On a multiple-choice test, the process of elimination helps you narrow down your options and get closer to the right answer. Here are a few ways to eliminate answers that are most likely wrong.

Process of Elimination Step #2:

Think twice before picking an answer with extreme words, such as:

  • all
  • always
  • never
  • none

Answers with these words are usually wrong, but you need to read carefully to make sure that's the case.

Medication for ADHD, such as Ritalin, may have harmful side effects. Special diets, exercise, and counseling are other treatments worth trying first.

How can children with ADHD be helped?

Click "Yes" for answers that should still be considered. Click "No" for extreme answers that can be crossed out, or eliminated.
